THE GREAT BOOKS UNIVERSITY COLLEGE
 This summer, 2001, we are circulating foundational documents to begin the organization of The Socratic University. The Great
Books University College will be the generalist college (within The Socratic University) awarding the traditional Master of Arts degree (M.A.) to graduate students in education.
 The Socratic University will be a
university for students with B.A.'s, in other words, it will restore the third level of education to its former status as a graduate college for those pursuing higher education in the
professions: law, business, medicine, philosophy and theology, with a generalist degree (M.A.) in education.
We will have announcements on this later as it develops. Thank you.
