LETTERS TO THE EDITOR
Dear Steve,
I received your magazine today. I have been accused of a weakness for hyperbole, so that might, in the view of some, were they to hear this, diminish the weight of what I am about
to say, but I'll say it anyway. This is, so far as I know, the most valuable magazine in the English language. To reinforce the weight of that statement, I hereby resolve to never
again use hyperbole, even if the armies of all the world threaten me with torture. Oh wait. Let's try understatement.
Classical Homeschooling is a very fine magazine, meeting a number of needs that few other sources have met.
I can't do it! There is no other source that meets the needs you are meeting, ranging from historical and
theoretical context to a bachelors degree where it belongs. God bless your work. If I can do anything to help,
please let me know... Please tell all of your staff there how very impressed I am by your work.
Dear Steve,
I have received your summer issue and am thoroughly enjoying it! Thank you for your prompt reply.
Dear Stephen,
Congratulations! This is a very successful first issue. It addresses classical education beautifully from a
good variety of perspectives and will be an asset to the homeschooling community... It is indeed refreshing to
see a publication that will serve all Christian homeschoolers, delivered from a strong traditional and biblical foundation. Also, thank you for your prayers for Marlane and me.
Dear Steve,
Nice to hear from you. I was impressed with your first issue of the magazine. Inspiring! ...
Yours fraternally,
Hamza Hanson
Dear Steve,
My husband and I are halfway through the magazine. WOW!!! There isn't any light reading to be found in it.
So many thoughts that we've had over the years expressed with regard to the idea curriculum/problems with
the educational system, etc. were expressed in a number of articles. We are convinced more than ever that we are on the right path for our family.
Dear Steve,
Outstanding! You speak of a renaissance; it sounds more like a revolution. With Mortimer Adler and Max Weismann leading the charge I
expect great things to happen. Good luck.
Dear Steve,
I did get the inaugural issue and it is wonderful. Believe me, those of us who've seen everything come down
the pike for the past 22 years are thrilled to see that we have done and given our blood, sweat and tears and
lives to it now being appreciated and disseminated far and wide. God bless you all... Keep me posted.
Dear Mr. Bertucci:
Thank you so much for sending me a copy of the inaugural issue of Classical Homeschooling.
This is the finest new periodical I have ever read, and it more than qualifies for the appellation of traditional scholarly journal. I have read it from cover to cover, and its content is right on
the mark. You could not have made a finer choice for dedication than Dr. Alder... Yesterday, I mailed my reply card to start a subscription and eagerly await the next issue.
